  1. I just downloaded trmptel.exe yesterday and it looks nice.  I am having
  2. a problem however, when I run ircII or nn the screen updates are not
  3. taking place as they should.  The screen does not scroll up in irc
  4. and nn and emacs have problems as well with scrolling.  I am connecting
  5. to a SUN running SUNOS 4.1.1 (sun3) and my term type is set to vt100
  6. but there must be some slight difference.  I actually have a real DEC
  7. VT100 that I bought 2 years ago at stanford junk sale and it works fine
  8. with this termtype.  But, I have seen messages here that lots of people
  9. are using trmptel and like it, so I am wondering if someone could
  10. email me a termcap entry that they actually use to make unix-apps
  11. such as these work.

  34. Works fine for me.  Make sure you're using the latest winsock.dll, available
  35. from ftp://vax.ftp.com/pub/winsockapi/FTPSoftware/ws112b.exe.
